Tigacom Resource Recovery completes high-volume, cost-effective restoration of oil-contaminated land generating a commercial hydrocarbon product and returning impacted land for constructive reuse. Tigacom’s approach employs a state-of-the-art treatment/oil recovery process, leveraging oil sands separation technology to remove the hydrocarbon fraction from impacted environmental media and facilitate land reclamation. Tigacom’s business model is driven by revenue generated from oil recovery to fully fund long- term projects. The company’s first venture involves extracting and producing a marketable hydrocarbon product from highly- contaminated environmental media associated with former Soviet republics’ crude oil production. The Company will employ proprietary oil/tar sands technology to efficiently remove crude oil contamination yielding clean soil and produce a petroleum product from the impacted environmental media. While past efforts in the region have utilized traditional capital intensive hazardous waste treatment approaches (soil
washing, bioremediation, etc.), Tigacom’s approach restores unusable land via a sustainable, profitable private venture.
